Our profile is ... Clear as a well!
Fluid Level TestsWe also use our fluid level equipment, along with our electronic surface pressure readout gauge to run acoustic or fluid level buildup service on underperforming pumping wells. This acoustic pressure buildlup service is just like running electronic pressure gauges down the hole, but without the cost of a service rig to pull the rods. The acoustic pressure buildup starts with a good working fluid level. We place the electronic surface readout pressure gauge on the casing and then shut the well in for the start of the buildup test. For the first few hours we will shoot the fluid level continuously to get a feel for how fast the fluid is coming up the hole and how quickly the casing pressure is moving up. When we feel comfortable with the movement of fluid and casing pressure we leave the well with the surface readout gauge recording. Periodically, we come back and shoot a fluid level so that we can get the information to start a buildup curve. This curve will tell us when the buildup reaches straight line and finish the test. We then input the fluid level and casing pressure information together and run it through our Pan-System reservior analysis to provide you with skin damage, P* and various other reservoir engineering information.
The Tesco Corporation's fluid level service can determine your pumping wells fluid level in a static or pumping condition.
We use nitrogen as our impulse, which allows us to shoot deep wells. Nitrogen also gives us the advantage of shooting a well in a foamy condition. We can put 400-600 psia plus of nitrogen pressure and shoot the well continuously to pack the foam and provide you with a correct fluid level.
So if you think your well is not pumping off, or you need liquid level information to determine where to place you pump, The Tesco Corporation's fluid level service will answer those questions.
