Plunger-lift Buildups

The Tesco Corporation's newest bottom-hole pressure testing service is a very unique and cost saving instrument - The Plunger Lift bottom-hole pressure testing pressure/temperatur gauge. Combined with its own gauge carrier and retrieval plunger, this tool advances plunger lift evaluation.
When you power up the pressure/temperature gauge, you then place it in its spring loaded gauge carrier and drop it down on the bumper spring. You can start the pressure buildup test, or drop the plunger down on top of the plunger lift gauge and produce the well. This would provide you with working pressure information.
This new pressure gauge and gauge carrier requires no slickline!
In the past, there were limitations in trying to gather data to optimize or fix plunger lift systems. It was an inexact science, due to the well is either taken out of it's natural producing state or the decisions were based on data that represented only part of the production cycle.
When the test is finished, you drop the retrieval carrier. The retrieval carrier sits down on the gauge carrier. On the next cycle, the retieval carrier and gauge carrier will surface.

The Tesco Corporation then downloads the pressure/temperature data from the gauge and produce the flowing and/or buildup report.
